HP laptop from Costco. Couple of months old. Cheaper one that’s like chrome book. for my step daughters school work. Not of the age to look at porn so don’t say that.

Driver appears to be there. Says it’s the latest drivers.

Won’t turn internet on. I’ve restarted. Not sure what else to do.

HELP

You sure there isn't a button on the key board? Usually at the top that you have to push a function key at the same time.

Might be a button on the keyboard or something for wifi, make sure it's not off.

Couple of things could be at play. Have you tried disabling/re-enabling the network card? Rebooted? It’s quite possible there is a hardware switch like others have suggested that disabled all wireless radios, think airplane mode on your phone. Sometimes this is a switch or sometimes it’s a keyboard function...

I had a similar issue on my Acer. My Acer came with some software like a "wifi analyzer". At some point they updated the version of software and made the old one not function. I had to go to the website and download the latest version of software. Worked fine after that. Could be something like that.

Low power mode could disconnect wifi. Try plugging it in, reboot it and then look for wifi

After trying all these suggestions, try typing Troubleshooter into the search bar at the bottom left on the toolbar and running the WiFi or Internet troubleshooter tool.
