Anybody do it yet?
Dark mode is pretty appealing to me.
Edit: As some have said there has been a couple bugs, only one I’ve had was email being quite sluggish. Will be updating to 13.1 today

A lot of us here are on dev or public beta on 13.1 already. Not sure why they even released 13, or what caused the quick upgrade to 13.1, 13.1 is very stable.
Invert mode has been around for awhile in Apple as well. They really just expanded it and renamed it to dark mode.

They made it a true dark mode. The invert mode worked but it would make a lot of pictures and banners look like x-rays.

Yeah invert mode was kinda a half arse attempt at a dark theme, but it was still there.

iOS 13 kicks arse so far on my XS.
Dark mode, swype, faster face unlock are my favorite features so far.
ETA: Thank Jesus that obnoxious fricking volume box is finally gone.

the swipe gesture on Apple is decent. G Board is a huge upgrade. They are doing good though. Need to make the layout a little better.

I've been Android up until now and I can say with confidence. They are almost the same system now. Apple is a tad behind because THEY have to implement it and not third parties. Hopefully Apple opens up a tad more and allows more default applications like the keyboard. Love having G board as my default.
As I get older and my family grows, having the sharing system and imessage has been a blessing. I miss Android and all the cool stuff but family members refusing to use anything but iMessage and other Apple apps is keeping me for now.

Can y’all explain what the 7.6 GB of backup is...? All I really want backed up is photos, notes, and calendar. What happens if I delete that backup?

I just have them in folders and quick access on the front page and whatever on the other pages. I love to use the widgets when I swipe to the left.
I think what would be a cool feature for the Iphone is to have a vertical scroll of the apps like Android but keep the dock static.

They've had a night mode (lowers the blue light emission, easier on the eyes in the dark) for years, but dark mode didn't come around until a later in 8.0 I think

Uh, you can see what the backup is storing and choose what you backup. If you don't prune your device backups, you may have backups from old devices too.

My iPhone 7 appears to be stuck or something during the install. I've been seeing a black screen with the white logo for about two hours now.

I tried that a couple of times (Power + Vol down) but same result. I'm gonna try to connect it to iTunes at home and maybe do a restore on it.
