Are you using Messages? Does it not let you send the photo anyway?

I am using messages, it will let me send just a photo. But when I use the camera function it does not send

I had an issue with this with a OnePlus 3. I had to go through my messages app (I used Textra, not android messages) and fiddled with message size maximums (settings, mms, carrier send limit -->1MB, MMS behavior: system)

Someone might know better than me, but I would think this is a carrier issue. Maybe something messed up with the SIM or APN settings. I've had that message occur when I was with total wireless which is a Verizon mvno but not with any other carrier I have tried.

I've contacted them and they were the ones that told me to change the camera settings....didn't work

Had the same issue. It worked if I took the picture with the camera then sent the photo. Not when I used the camera button in the messages app.

Well, I'm out of ideas then. I don't know if I've ever used the camera button in the messages app
