Can anyone recommend a good garage door opener that will work with Google home that doesn't require a separate subscription? I am hoping to spend under $100

Chamberlain MyQ hub for $80 on Amazon, and I think it’s $60 more for bridge that works with Google Home, Alexa, etc.
I’m looking at getting it right now, seems to be the unanimous pick as the top product of its kind.
LINK
Eta: I take that back.. I think the hub enables device control, while bridge enables both device control and voice control. Bridge is more expensive.

You need the myq unit that contains the little hub plus door sensor. Your link contains the entire unit you need.
I hated mine and gave it to my FiL in exchange for 2 linear/go control/lowes units that are zwave.
Chamberlain is a motherfricker of s company and deliberately don't support certain types of garage door controls because... They can. I have 2 marantec garage door systems which are amazing but Chamberlain refuses to let their unit work with them. They don't like competition. Did you know Chamberlain is the company behind most private branded systems? You do now.
What you can do with it is limited and the last straw was when they decided to charge s monthly fee to access it via IFTTT.
You will need a zwave hub for the linear unit but since it's local you can control it 100% through your local network which means is Future proof unlike Chamberlain who keeps moving the goalposts and changing the rules on their cloud dependent POS.
PS the linear units work with 100% of the garage door openers out there because you simply attach it to the 2 wires coming in from your doorbell openers all openers have.
PPS it's a smart garage door opener for fricks sake. How the hell can Chamberlain frick something up this badly that simply opens and closes a door?

Do you have links to your setup by chance?

It was a 10 minute setup. I use Wink for my hub but smart things works just as easily.
I have mine set up automatically close 20 minutes after they open and that takes care of virtually anything I would use voice commands for.
Honestly if you're getting serious about your smart home you should consider a zwave hub because there are tons of devices that use that standard.
Here a thread on the ST forums that give you a step by step when adding this to ST hub to ensure you can call it from Home or Alexa.
You can also use IFTTT and stringify with it.

I ended up getting one of the linear units after your first thread about them. I have it set up through Wink as well. Are there any voice commands that you can do with them?

That garadget looks like exactly what I want, but it has pretty bad reviews on amazon

so thank goodness i gave the myQ to my FiL. What a nightmare.
there's a support thread at chamberlain where people have spent more than 3 years trying to change the registration of their serial number to another person they sold the device to.
chamberlain, get it together.

Thanks for suggestions. Is there a thread for smart home setups similar to the chord cutting thread. I'm just getting into setting up my house
