Looking to get a phone for a kid and possibly moving myself. Straight Talk looks cheaper than my ATT plan.

All the MVNOs are cheaper and they piggy back off the other networks. If you have AT&T and are happy with their coverage I'd suggest looking at Cricket. They are owned by AT&T and use the same network.

Wife and I have had it for several years. It's great for one or two people but with no family plans it isn't worth it for three or more.

Next year I'll be getting the other kids service and the prepaid att plan is leading.

Works great, but good luck reaching someone who speaks something similar to English, if you have to call customer service.

I've had straight talk for ATT for 4 years. Can't complain at all. Same towers/service as ATT, $45/m for 10GB data unlimited talk/text.
If you take care of and hold onto your phones for a while its a really good deal. If you are buying a $500 phone every year all that savings evaporates.

Works great for me. My bill is 45, 50 after tax. 10GB of data, unlimited talk and text. They just came out with unlimited data for 55 a month. I don't use that much, but kids do.

perfect summary and exactly how it worked for my wife and me. Moved to verizon when needed to add our kids. Straight talk was great bc no contract.

My wife and I just started with total wireless which is owned by the same company as total wireless. My pixel 2 would not automatically install the APN settings, so I had to do some workaround with my old att Sim to edit the APN settings.

My wifes iPhone has had trouble receiving some calls. She will randomly get voicemails with no missed calls even when she is on 4g lte. Also, she has not been able to send me videos via text. They used to come through, although extremely compressed, but now they aren't coming through at all. And on her iPhone 6s, the APN settings don't even show up. Unless her service improves, I'll be looking for a different service next month

I have 5 unlimited lines with cricket for exactly $100

No taxes or anything else and they use at&t towerss so we get good reception. Better than when I had T-Mobile where I live.

Not sure who is the best for just two lines
