So my first row is a banner with images and my header row is the 2nd row. I have tried everywhich way to have filters on only certain headers but it puts filters on all of the headers. I even removed the banner and made the headers in the 1st row and it still doesn't work. Now I am working off of the Projet Tracker template that I am modifying. Could that be causing the issue? Tia

No filters are all, single or nothing. If you select just your header row and all data rows under and format as a table you get filters on all columns. Otherwise if you don't format as a table you can apply a filter to one column at a time.

You need a pivot table. Watch a few videos.

Also how can I add additional columns to the setup tab so that I can add and modify info in my drop downs. There is already two columns in the setup tab however for the rest I am having to go through the Data Validation tab to add options to drop downs. TIA.

In a pivot table, you can dictate rows and columns.
