Computer freezing

My laptop freezes when I am working at home, but not at the office. The cursor becomes frozen in place, will not move, whatever data is downloading freezes. If I wait 30 minutes, 2 hours, all day, it is still frozen in place. I have to reboot. Sometimes it goes for a month or two without doing it, sometimes it freezes 5 times a day.
Does not happen at any other locale. Any ideas?

Turn the thermostat up at your house, it should help your laptop to thaw out a bit
