Best device to use for streaming YouTube TV to TV

I have a cheaper outside patio TV that doesn't have ability to load apps on directly. I want to buy a device to hook up to it to stream YouTube TV. What's best? Firestick, chrome cast, roku?

Roku stick is the easiest. Chromecast is good too, just know it doesn't have a dedicated remote and you have to use your phone or tablet to control it.
They're both around the same price.
I've never used a Firestick, but it's likely just as easy as the other two, and I think there's a sale on them right now on Amazon so is probably the cheapest option.

Thanks. So roku or firestick. Any advantage on one VS other beside cost?

I recommend Roku. I have a TV for my outside patio with Roku installed and works great. I have Roku sticks on my other TVs in my home

Never used a Fire Stick, but I'd imagine they operate pretty much the same. I've never had a problem with Roku sticks.

Thanks. Any idea how difficult it would be to connect the roku through the AVR receiver? I currently have HD in running through exterior wall of house on opposite side of patio where TV is hung outside. My AVR and cable box are both inside the bedroom and I have IR remote extenders running through the wall. How would this work with roku? Could I attach the IR extender to the roku and leave it inside connected direct to AVR?

Just buy a devices that is IR controllable

I have an multiple Apple TV and a Roku stick for my outdoor tv. All do great. But the Roku stock does lag behind as far as live tv. Not sure if it’s just chance or if it consistently does.

Firestick does not have YouTube tv get a roku

Like buffering lagging? That's no Bueno. Pretty much only watch live games on the patio so need reliability

which Roku to get?
i have the basic one and it works great... i'd imagine the more expensive ones have more options

I have an old FireTv Gen2..It works great with all the APK's that are out there for download. And I have Roku built into my TV. I haven't used the Roku for much more than Pluto TV.
I just checked and according to the YOUTUBE TV site it is "coming soon" to Fire TV.
I might be wrong but it seems there are a lot more options for Fire Tv than for Roku.

Update. My patio TV had a lcd panel gone out after 5 years so decided to get a new one. Got a TCL roku TV and hung it. Signed up for free trial of YouTubeTV today to test over the weekend. So far it's awesome I don't have high speed internet, but not having any problems so far. Wonder if having more than 1 TV streaming simultaneously would create a lag in the streams.
Gonna buy a couple of roku sticks for the inside TVs next week and say bye bye to the cable company and their shitty HD boxes.

Somewhat related. Does any device support 5.1?
