Has there been an update which kills the battery on iPhones?

I can have it plugged in with all apps closed except for Pandora and I can watch the battery drop down to 0%.

That 7S coming out next week. You knew it was only a matter of time.

In all seriousness, my wife's phone has been doing this for a couple months now. I think its just a problem with the batteries. If you go into the settings to see whats using the battery the most, it says that there is a problem with her battery.

Same here. 6s+. Over the course of 2 minutes with only the home screen showing and screen brightness low, I watched it drop from 22% to 11%.

Figured I would go ahead and get it to 0. Took no time to get it to 1%. It took 20 minutes of screen brightness at the max and playing YouTube video to get it to die. fricking weird.

No battery issues.

I think it's my new office building. I've been sitting here at home dicking around for 30 min and the battery life has barely dropped.

In my office, it crashes like a hooker trying to give a blowjob while she's driving.

I've been having touchscreen issues inside apps on my 6S+. Just started like a week ago.

Battery issues are among the most common problems with any battery operated device which is why I won't buy a device that is not designed to allow the user to replace the batteries. I guess if we replaced/upgraded said devices frequently it would not be an issue but we tend to keep our stuff until the wheels fall off.

A few months ago while in NYC, I had to get my screen replaced. Did it at the Apple Store and the person helping me mentioned that there was a battery issue with the 6s's and they could replace the battery for free for me even though mine tested out fine. The battery issue was it going from something decently high to 0% in a short while. So while there is not an official recall, take it to the Apple Store and see what they say. I should add that I do NOT have apple care for my phone. And yes, my battery was replaced free of charge.
