I have hulu and netflix so I only need internet.

Should I go with Cox or ATT?

Looks the best I can get at that location is cox 300 mbps compared to att 50 mbps

You answered your own question. People can hate on Cox all they want. Both have terrible support and end of the day, if you can't get fiber from AT&T, then Cox is a no brainer.

This. AT&T Fiber, if available. Cox, if not.

You'll probably get fiber pretty soon. AT&T seems like they started with the larger neighborhoods first in BR. It just became available for us very recently.

They've kind of done the opposite. To put it in perspective the blocks on Gardier have fiber.
