AT&T vs Cox Internet

Looking at cutting the cord. Don't watch much TV other than football and golf. My area is limited so AT&T and Cox internet are my choices. Both have data limits of around 1TB. My question is if I cut the cord completely, is 1TB sufficient for surfing, PS4, and TV streaming or will I be over data limits often? Also, what options are available for recording, if any? Thanks for the help.

We stream everything and the last time I checked we were around 480 GB a month.

This really depends on a few factors. Are you streaming stuff in 720/1080 vs 4k? Netflix recommends 5 Mbps for HD streaming and 25 Mbps for 4k so if you're watching 4k you burn through bandwidth 5 times as fast. Also, is it you alone or do you have a wife and 2.5 kids? For the most part the only people that ever seem to complain about data caps on this board are people with multiple children.
