amazon fire tv noob question

I just plugged in a FireTV last night. No prior experience with one. I was downloading apps, signing in, and amazed at how many have "live" programming along with the on-demand stuff.
Question 1: is there a way to see or sort which apps have the "live" feature (even if some really aren't live like a newscast would be)?
Follow-up question: is there a way to organize or sort or view in another app a "guide" of sorts that would show me what each channel's live offerings are at any given time (just like a normal cable box's guide screen would)?
Appreciate any help.

You can download a system that will do these for you. I don't remember what it was called unfortunately, but I read about it when I purchased mine over a year ago.
To my knowledge the base GUI doesn't allow you to sort.
