Aftermarket Backup Camera

Not sure if I should post here or on the OB.
Replacing the factory head unit in my Jeep with a Sony ( XAV-5000). It has backup camera compatibility.
Anyone have experience with any of the cheap (Chinese?) backup cameras available on Amazon?
NOT license plate mounted.

Not sure that it qualifies for your cheap but I put a Rydeen RYD ZH07150B in my son's car hooked to a App Radio. Works great.

So far so good. I am going to test it tonight to see how it does in the dark. I was surprised how clear it was. The only knock so far is if you turn the parking lines on they weren’t the same width as my car. I am guessing it has to do with the wide angle lens.

You may be able to adjust the parking lines on your video/stereo unit. The factory camera location on my son's car is offset to one side by about 6 inches but we were able to adjust the lines on his stereo to compensate.

anything like this that comes with a display to view? or one that could be pulled up via app?

Yes there are some that come with a separate display as well as some that replace your rearview mirror with a new one that has a display built into it.

No lines unless you cut one of the wires.

You can buy aftermarket displays or a rearview mirror with an embeded LCD screen to view it. The also make wireless like Pearl but they are pricey.
