Yes
I would feel better if I were in charge though. ??
Seriously though, losing Delap AND loaning Jackson was a kick in the nuts.
I was the crazy guy that said to keep Jackson in case of an injury.
I also wanted a proven CB, and an upgrade at keeper.
Silly me.
Still, this team has promise IF fully healthy
However, as you have correctly noted before, in addition to being soccer stupid, we are also made of glass.

Still kind of steaming about that loss yesterday. The game looked so well in hand.
Another stupid challenge leads to another red followed by subs that amounted to a forfeit. Both games could have been won if we had given up a goal, and I’m not sure both couldn’t even have been won with 10 if Maresca doesn’t immediately move to shut down the attack.

The challenge was dumb.
The hospital ball played into the path of the Brighton striker was even dumber.

EM deserves some criticism (especially with the subs at Man U). I have no issue with putting on Gusto.
Still, this is a bad run of form, and his fingerprints are on it.

I blame whoever in authority decided against acquiring a replacement for Cowill. Whether it was EM or TB, it was stupid to not bring in another center back.
It’s early in the season and I think things will improve from here. But CFC is no better than last year. We will be sweating out the #4 spot in May.

I think that we will be fine IF we get healthy.
Chalobah is getting shite on, but the own goal wasn’t his issue, it was on Cuch ball watching. As for the red, he should have just let the man go, but that back pass was horrendous.
Sanchez’s red was moronic.
As Randy noted previously, we need a better keeper, a better CB, and another forward (loaning Jackson was dumb).
Honestly, if would have been nice to throw Sterling up top when going down to 10.
Disasi should be in the bench as well.
I don’t get the two man bomb squad.
Those are front office decisions.

Didn’t score a goal and grabbed 3 points. The clean sheet is encouraging. Liverpool this weekend then international break.

we will take it anyway we can get it

the Blues are playing with a lot of intensity and sense of urgency
the Reds look kind of flat
caicedo with the absolute banger

Absolutely enormous. Kudos to this team. Caicedo is a beast. Cucurella is so damn good. Willian is the truth.

Just finished watching. What a game. Blues absolutely dominated mid-field. And the new signings all played well when they were in. It’s hard to praise one player when the team played so well.

Minus the reds, we haven’t lost but once in the last 6 months (Bayern away last week).
Read that again.
Yes…I’m still bullish on the blues.

Thats an amazing stat on both levels. Wild how many reds we get. Enzo keeping the streak going today

Lavia is a difference maker. If he stays healthy, dude is world class.

Breaks give me time to ponder some things, for instance, who can we least afford to lose to injury at this moment: Caicedo or Cucurella? You can make a case for both, but Cucurella seems irreplaceable right now. Not sure his work rate, attacking style and instincts can be replicated by anyone on the roster. You could say the same for Moises but there are bodies on the bench you can throw out there in his stead. Can’t say the same for Cucurella.

Wtf is this note passing.

It worked
Came alive in the second half with some nice subs. Guiu puts so much stress on the opponent’s back line. Back line is still leaky as hell.
Of course another red
