Anyone hating on Gregg's tactics/selections that half is just not objective.
The Brazil midfield was having trouble keeping up with Musah and we weren't as hellbent on recycling everything through Ream and Richards.
Pepi offers nothing in this system though because he can't hold up the ball at all and lacks positional awareness to find pockets. His best role continues to be 60 minute sub to run at tired legs when we need a goal.

Can’t complain about the first half shift they put in effort wise
But we have seen this before when we look good in the first half vs a top aide then second half crumble.
