Agreed, but from everything I've read, it's Sporting being the petty ones in this transfer.

Porro done deal

Doherty on loan to Atletico

DJed on loan to Rennes

Can we not offload Emerson somewhere?

ETA Bryan Gil has joined Sevilla on loan until the end of the season.

Been a mixed bag on transfers as of late.

Romero, Bentancur, Kulusevski, & Perisic have proven to be great additions.

Gil, Spence, Emerson, Sarr & Richarlison…the jury is still out.

Hopefully Porro and Danjuma slot into that top group and Richarlison is able to finish the season strong.

Conte fell ill this week and the diagnosis came back with cholecystitis requiring surgery. He will spend time away from the club recovering from the operation before returning. A statement from Spurs read: "Antonio Conte recently became unwell with severe abdominal pain. "Following a diagnosis of cholecystitis, he will be undergoing surgery to remove his gallbladder today and will return following a period of recuperation. Everyone at the club wishes him well." Tottenham's next match is at home to Manchester City on Feb. 5 before travelling to Leicester City on Feb. 11. The club have not yet confirmed who will take charge of the game this Sunday.

Matt Doherty's contract is terminated. Seems like a nice guy, but I'm not crying over this decision. TBH, probs should have been released a long time ago.

It was, they have played patient and kept their shape, minus a couple of times, and made it count.

Also, congratulations to Kane!

Good first half by not conceding a goal. Royal working defensively. Midfield in our back central third needs to be better.

Miracles everywhere:

Royal played lights out
We didn’t concede a first half goal
Halaand was neutralized
Harry gets the record
Conte “away” win
Lloris didn’t have a blunder
Sanchez didn’t have blunder
Romero didn’t get a red…wait never mind

I had a bad feeling Romero was getting a red. That 1st foul was really dumb, but it did set the tone for the rest of the game, play physical and throw off timing.
