Final EPL Standings
6th: 59 points and Europa League next season

Latest Result:
Draw, 1-1 @ Crystal Palace

Next Game:
September 12th

Decent finish considering the absolute chaos we had to endure this year with incredible rash of injuries, suspensions, coaching changes, underwhelming transfers, etc

Love the ndombele signing, better hope he doesn’t give you the bakayoko treatment.

Ndombele is going to be a beast. Can’t wait to see him in Lillywhite.

Twitter rumor going around this morning. Even though it would mean 95% chance that Eriksen is gone Ceballos and Ndombele would most certainly soften the blow

Other potential departures: Wanyama, Eriksen, Rose, Trippier, Alderweireld

Some names in the rumor mill:

Dani Olmo (winger, AM): 21 years old, currently with Dinamo Zagreb.

Giovani Lo Celso (CM): 23 years old, currently with Real Betis. Heavily linked since the beginning of the window. May cost as much as Ndombele.

Dani Ceballos (CM): 22 years old, currently with Real Madrid. May be involved in a potential deal for Eriksen?

Ryan Sessegnon (LB, LWB): 19 years old, currently with Fulham. Reportedly been a target for some time.

Nicolo Zaniolo (winger, AM): 20 years old, currently with Roma. May be acquired for Alderweireld + cash.

Also need someone to back up Kane. Best guess for how we end up after this window:

GK: Lloris, Gazzaniga
CB: Vertonghen, Sanchez, Dier, Foyth
RB: Aurier, Walker-Peters
LB: Rose, Davies
CM: Winks, Sissoko, Ceballos, Ndombele, Skipp
AM/winger: Son, Moura, Dele, Sessegnon, Zaniolo, Lamela
ST: Kane, new signing?

That’s a lot of youth coming into the team which kind of concerns me, but I do think it’s wise to move on from a few of the aging veterans. And there should still be a good mixture of experience I think.

Ben Davies and Harry Winks both extend their contracts until 2024.

Both are really useful players (especially Davies) who seem like the type that are great to have around the club. Good bit of business in my book.

Great for depth especially if we make another run in one of the in-season cups. It’s a miracle we went as far as we did with those injuries

Peter Crouch has retired.

He was part of the reason I started watching/following Spurs, so this is a pretty sad day for me.

(Also, if you never listened to his podcast "That Peter Crouch Podcast", you're missing out bigtime. He's got a great sense of humour.)

Trippier transfers to Atletico Madrid for €25 million. With Foyth moving over to RB and Toby rumors I wouldn’t be shocked to see go after a CB for some depth

Assuming Trippier and Rose both move on, the remaining back line includes:
Aurier, KWP, Foyth, Toby, Davinson, Jan, and Davies.

And with Foyth, Jan, and Davies able to play both CB and RB/LB; I dont think Spurs are in need of that much help. However, some depth would be nice, but I'm used to not having any at this point

Don't forget that Dier can play CB. In fact, given all the midfielders we've been linked with, if we sign a couple more I wouldn't be surprised to see him move back there permanently.
