Trippier to Atletico is a done deal.
Throwback to probably his best bit of skill in the last 4 years. Streamable

Ndombeles first pass an assist to Lucas for an equalizing goal.

The best part was that as soon as De Ligt came on Lucas scored on him again.

Right where we left off at (minus Liverpool).
Late winner from Kane, brilliant.

Thought we looked great. Going to be a fantastic season.
Curious to see how the transfer window ends up. We are right now rumored for Bale and Lo Celso and the rumor mill is hot on Toby being shipped out. I'm glad we are upgrading midfield but now I'm starting to get worried about the backline.

Honestly I thought the first half squad looked much better than the second half. And agreed on K. Walker Peters. I thought he did some nice things out there, but as the game moved on he looked to tire out a bit, and made some errors...which is normal this early...not to mention he played the majority of the game.
I Also think Foyth has skills, but it’s like his brain just switches off sometimes.

[Sky Sports] #thfc are not forseeing a situation whereby it is Christian Eriksen OR Giovani Lo Celso but infact where they have Christian Eriksen AND Giovani Lo Celso.
Oh boy
If we can close Lo Celso and Sessegnon before August 1

If we get Lo Celso and keep Eriksen our midfield will be stacked. Assuming Rose leaves our lineup may look like (first team in bold):
GK: Lloris, Gazzaniga
RB: Aurier, Foyth/KWP
CB: Jan, Toby, Sanchez, Foyth/Dier
LB: Sessegnon, Davies
Deep CM: Sissoko, N'dombele, Winks, Dier, Skipp, Wanyama
Attacking CM/Winger: Eriksen, Son, Lo Celso, Dele, Lucas, Lamela
ST: Kane, Son/Lucas/Llorente, Parrott
The depth and versatility in midfield would be huge in so many ways: 1) to cover for injuries (like Kane's inevitable ankle sprain); 2) to field a capable squad for cup ties and such; and 3) to provide some actual competition for guys like Dele and Eriksen.

I wondered if he was gonna take a serious penalty and accidentally nail the kids in the face.

Same.
