Didn't realize that Newcastle does the Star Wars walkout music too.

Glad Toby is on the bench and not frozen out completely.

Aurier's positioning has been horrendous.

Ball Game

3 points in the books. Nearly gave it away in last 10 minutes with that crossbar shot but great way to start the season with a victory on the road. Last home game at Wembley next weekend vs PL “newcomers” Fulham

Hell of a game to open the new stadium with. I think Pool will challenge City for the title this year if they figure out how to not drop points against lower sides. No more Swansea has to make them feel better

Had this same thought too, and I hope so. They looked really dangerous. They are a lot of fun to watch. I think they’re becoming my second favorite club behind Tottenham....especially if they continue to sit Henderson.

I've got no problem with Liverpool. They're fun to watch and Klopp seems like a cool dude.

Their fans over on Reddit have soured me a bit though. They are insufferable. Just remember, we've finished ahead of them 8 of the last 9 years.

Stadium is delayed so won’t be playing Liverpool for the first game. Earliest would be sometime in October looks like

Liverpool, Cardiff, and the NFL game have all been moved back to Wembley

Word on Twitter is that the club is looking at either Man City on 10/28 or Chelsea on 11/24 for new stadium opener

BOOOOOOOOOO. I guess the new player money is going to Wembley rent instead. I imagine levy is getting even more shite now from everyone.

I would like to think there is a clause in the contract with the general contractor that every day construction goes over the deadline they have to pay X-amount. (There's a legal term for it but I'm blanking)

I remember reading on R/COYS a while back that if the stadium wasn't ready by the contracted deadline it's a frickton of money that Spurs get to recoup.

The stadium will be ready by Christmas, whats a couple more months, no biggie.

In other, good news,

Lamela and Harry fricking Winks returned to full first team training today.

Winks finna run the midfield

Yea, it's usually like a million dollars a day for a big commercial project, much less a billion dollar stadium. (Not thrilled about the possible first game being against City however)

And rejoice!

Yeah, I'd rather open it up against just about anyone besides City

I know we wont, but I'd like to see Kane rest the first 60' this saturday against Fulham. If we can't beat them without him, then we don't deserve it.
