I don't want Liverpool to win many games, but I'd be thrilled if they beat City in a few weeks at Anfield.

Keep fricking around with teams that you should beat handily and eventually it bites you in the arse. City just won the title.

Martial was invisible out there today outside of the goal that was disallowed. Not good.

This game certainly helps our goal differential. Might be big later on.

They'll eventually have a downturn in form. Hopefully it starts Sunday with a loss to Liverpool.

ETA: but the loss to Sheffield and draw with Arsenal were horrible and both are games that should've been won. Hopefully the 9-0 win over Southampton gets United rolling again. Everton at Old Trafford won't be an easy match. Especially the way United have played at home this season.

Lol I was thinking the same. Especially after Klopps comment. But without a reliable striker they eventually have to have a downturn. They can't keep relying on Gundogan, Foden, and Cancelo... Or can they? Sterling and Jesus haven't really done shite. I also kinda believe what Klopp said to be true. They got rest when they were shut down for covid in December and have been great since they returned to play, while other teams have been playing since June. I just can't fricking stand City and Pep.

I also hate the fricking Pep talk. They've won most of their games through defense this season with a resurgent John Stones and Ruben Dias who they spent 70M on and that was after spending 42M on Nathan Ake who is riding the bench with Aymeric Laporte. I wonder why the city defense has been good?

fricking awful defending for each Everton goal. De gea was shite, Maguire is always shite and slow. Just switched off for 3 minutes and gave up 2 goals, then on the last fricking free kick of the game allowed a shite goal.

frick that was awful. United had a free kick with 35 seconds left until the 94th minute and gave the ball right back and Tuanzebe came on just to foul in his first action of the game, give up a free kick and lose two points.

Theres no way the first goal should be scored by Everton. Maguire is too slow and let's Calvert-Lewin just glide past him and then De Gea punches the ball right to Doucore. The third goal is just awful outright. How you give up a goal in the last 10 seconds on a free kick from near midfield.... It's unbelievable how poor the United defense has been at times this season. Currently United have scored the most goals in the league but are 12th in Goals allowed. If this team had a solid cb they'd probably win the title this year.
