Apparently the problem lies in that a private company owns Dybala's image rights and they are the ones wants that are making his deals stall out.

Goldbridge is right, if they announce De Gea's new contract WED or TH, United is done with signings. Look for a last minute deal for Longstaff if any at all.

I’m holding out hope for this Eriksen deal since apparently we thought Bruno was overpriced.

Eriksen has been producing in the league for 5 years now at the same price as an unproven Bruno. So I dont think hell be considered overpriced in comparison

It’s a happy shock, but I’m shocked Tottenham are willing to give him to us. They must be very confident neither Chelsea or Arsenal will be good enough to compete for top 4 this year.

I would imagine the deal is dead for spurs then. Not only do they have to pay him, but apparently there is some other contract changes that come into play as well on top of the 5 mill.
I would be shocked if he is at sporting. I doubt they want to shell out the extra cash.
That said I have zero faith in woodward to get it done. We are riding with our trash midfield.

That we didn’t sign anybody, even if it was an unproven player or one that I didn’t like? Yea. I would have taken a Dan James type signing in the midfield at this point.

I still expect a couple of players to be on their way out. We have a ton of defenders at this point.
