So how many games does Mane miss?
Posted on 1/23/20 at 8:46 pm to Cash
Upcoming fixtures:
1/26 @Shrewsbury Town (FA Cup)
1/29 @West Ham
2/1 Southampton
(international break)
2/15 @Norwich City
2/18 @Atletico Madrid (CL)
2/24 West Ham
2/29 @Watford
3/7 Bournemouth
3/11 Atletico Madrid (CL)
3/14 @Everton
3/21 Crystal Palace
4/4 @Man City
Considering the schedule above, the earliest I would bring Mane back (health in consideration, of course) is at Atletico (2/18).
Not healthy then? Then give him until Atletico at Anfield (3/11).
Not healthy then? Then give him until Man City at the Etihad. (4/4)
In other words, considering the EPL fixtures from now until April, there is no urgency to rush him back on to the pitch IMO.

100% play the kids this weekend
We looked tired today, especially Hendo and Gini

I’d like to see Matip start this weekend as well just so he can get some action coming off injury. I would’ve said Minamino too before today but he obviously played. Hopefully Shaq sees the field as well. And honestly wouldn’t be opposed to Fabinho too as he looked pretty rusty today
Love watching the kids play but it’s also a great opportunity for the guys coming off injury/don’t ever get any playing time to see some game action

Also, according to James Pearce, Klopp said that it’s just a muscle tweak for Sadio and that it’s nothing serious
I still agree with beatbammer though, don’t rush him back and wait til after the international break. He can play against Norwich to prepare for Atletico. Let Origi/Minamino play on the left in the meantime

glad Fab is back for europe and the push for the title. hendo has been a good understudy, but there's nothing like having Fab in front of the defense dictating pace and opening up the middle with his through passes.

Minamino- Origi- Elliott
Jones- Fabinho- Lallana
Larouci- Lovren- Matip- Williams
---Adrian---
Let's go ahead and use this one against Shrewsbury to get some regulars back into the swing of things, get the young kids some minutes, and keep some bench players in a rhythm

Sounds like muscle problems; seen headlines about club trying to figure how to deal with his unique build

Fantastic starting XI.
Hope to see us score 4 or more.

I'd like to see Keita get some minutes in the 2nd half..

I wish PL refs were as good as the fat guy running this game.
P.S. Adrian is so damn good.

Fabs, Matip, and Lovren are rusty and slooooooow.

Yeah, definitely showing some rust... on the other end of the spectrum, I love what Jones, Williams and Elliot bring to the table
