Words I never thought I'd write: At least its an STD and not something more serious.

Hopefully a nice broad spectrum oral antibiotic and a strong topical clear that right up! Just means he'll be all the fresher for the LAST 7 GAMES OF THE GODDAMN SEASON!

Where did the time go??? We're top of the league and in the UCL quarters with a great draw!!!!!!!!!!!

COME ON YOU frickING REDS

I am beyond stoked. And anxious. I don't know what to do with my hands...

Although, I could likely make better use of mine than Shaq, given his situation.

I highly doubt its an STD. Are we being serious?

Has to be like a groin problem or something right?

What STD could keep you off the pitch?

I think it would have been stated "groin" if that's what it was... "Pubic inflammation" sounds pretty specfic. Unless he was doing the helicopter dick and sprained it, there aren't THAT many modes of injury left...

Dybala and De Ligt ain't happening, way too much money. I think Edwards/Klopp tweak more than transform.

We have had a huge influx of cash with the recent runs in the champions league. We just paid the most money in history for a CB and the most money in history for a GK. It’s only a matter of time before we drop 80-100 on a guy if Klopp wants him. That’s where the market is going and we aren’t going to be left behind

I think you pay the money for De Ligt.. It's actually a bargan if he pans out and is a starting CB for 10 years... Or you sell him on for a huge profit...

Can we get him is the bigger issue... he may already be Barca bound..

I agree, but everything I’ve read from reliable LFC sources say that we “probably” won’t drop a huge fee this Summer. Although, I also agree that if there is a Klopp guy out there and we finish strong that it could happen. We’ll see.

Ive read that too, but I have to believe that if Edwards and Klopp feel like we can get him, they'd pull the trigger... Obviously there is a limit to our valuation, but a big investment in him is pretty damn close to a no-brainer..

As much as I like Gomez.. He has had a couple of big injuries already, though I'd stop short of calling him injury prone... Matip and Lovren are injury prone...

It will be an interesting summer... and I think if we keep the core group, we need more of an upgrade in squad players in key areas... The one exception I see is.. either make Bobby a #10 and bring in a starting #9, or bring in a Creative mid who can also score.. I think that's a must for the starting 11..

edit: After a rough first year, I fully expect to see the real Naby Keita next season...

Gomez is officially "back" (and by that I mean not injured, but probably not fully up to match speed yet)...

pretty predictable 11... Wasn't Hendo nursing a knock? Really disappointed no Fabinho, can live with the rest of the mf..

Tottenham going with a back 3...

I still think we'll go for all the points... I'll just leave it at that and support the guys now... lets fricking go!!

I really hope Salah can turn in a good one for us! If he’s scoring goals than we could have Kolo Toure in the midfield and win. Come on you Reds!

No Gomez on the bench is disappointing... but otherwise it's fine... I think them playing a back 3 is a pretty dangerous prospect for them
