At least they lose Kimmich and we get VvD back.
This game has been trash though.

Origi has been a great fat blob of nothingness.
Which is what he is best at.

I'd take Matip over f-ing Origi.
We might as well be playing with 10.

I mean, what in the actual frick is TAA thinking on these fricking throw-ins?
Posted on 2/19/19 at 3:50 pm to beatbammer
Seriously Mane, play the through ball to fricking Origi there
Posted on 2/19/19 at 3:52 pm to DByrd2
Playing the long ball so Origi and his great speed can catch up to it
Posted on 2/19/19 at 3:52 pm to beatbammer
It’s driving me crazy. He has a guy standing right in front of him and tries to squeeze it in elsewhere

Our full backs were absolutely awful today, I mean 0-0 isn't terrible I guess, but it could have been so much better
Posted on 2/19/19 at 3:53 pm to beatbammer
Origi made a legit run when we were on that last break. He would have been clear through. Instead, let’s dribble through the middle where FIVE frickING PEOPLE ARE.
Mane is wonderful sometimes, but holy shite is he bad sometimes too.

Oh well, Bayern is also a world-class squad, so fair play to them.
0-0 means no away goals for Bayern, so still feeling good.

So on to United this weekend... I hope we pound the crap out of it

If I can find a the prop bet of TAA receiving a yellow in the 2nd leg for taking too long throwing the ball in I will put a hefty sum on it.

It really is fricking frustrating.

listened to the last 20 minutes... can I get a cliff notes version?
Obviously, not the best result but not the worst either..

Matip and Fabinho didn't hardly put in a wrong foot. A few nervy corners on but they really didn't have a huge amount of chances. Nothing at all for Lewa, barely heard his name called.
Midfield three did fine with Hendo standing out. Our forward were so bad it made Gini seem like he had a quiet game but he didn't put a wrong foot in either. Keita was pretty good in the first half, struggled in the 2nd.
Robbo has probably his worst game I've seen, touch was off, passing was awful, heading clearances were bad and he got his pants pulled down 2-3 times on the wing.
TAA wasn't awful, just a little rusty and rightfully so. Had some dangerous crosses and pushed forward well as usual. Didn't rate him as badly as some seem to be.
We deserved to win, Salah and Mane had 2-3 chances each that should/could have been goals. Firminio worked hard but struggled to really get in the game, rightfully so being ill.
Good to get out level but we should have had a goal or two easily.
Hendo or Fabinho MOTM for me, both were very solid.
Oh and regarding Bayern attack, we really did stifle it most of the match minus the few times TAA and Robbo got burned on the wings by Gnabry and Coman. TAA seemed to get it figured out in 2nd half, Robbo struggled all game.
Don't need to tell you Klopp brought on f-ing Origi though..

Probably the right attitude to have... I'm looking forward to putting the Mancs back in their place this weekend

Pretty spot on. I’d give Hendo MOTM, he hustled today. Robbo was way off, got spun around a couple times. Keita was hot and cold...had some great dribbles but also played a lot of passed into Bayern feet, same with Mane. Really don’t understand the Origi sub. Would have liked to see Shaq on, but understand Milner too. I just prefer Shaq to push the tempo more. Milner and Origi to me says we’re content to hang back and take the draw.
Lastly, thought Alison learned his lesson on slow play out of the back. Almost got his pocket picked early on.
