That was just a glimpse of the Naby Keita from RBL... I hope its finally starting to click for him..

I think the Fab/Gini/Keita MF will be our best, for the remainder of the season, providing the above happens... The English 3 as cover and Ox being brought along slowly..

fricking Chelsea

So glad we ended up with Fabinho as our #6 and not Jorginho...

Was he really bad today? Saw a bunch of banter on twitter but didn't get to watch.

Guess everyone for Chelsea was bad but did he just get run through or something?

Everyone was bad for Chelsea...

Im speaking in general... He is not what we needed.. a one trick pony that is a liability protecting the back 4... not saying he's a bad player...

Now that Fabinho has hit his stride he looks great and is always looking to move the ball forward...

I really hope we stick with 433... Mo looked so much better yesterday, starting off om=n the right...

Yeah, that formation yesterday felt more natural and fluid and in sync... Stay in that and keep piling up the points, we're gonna need them

Don’t want to poo poo the 4-2-3-1 completely. It got us to the table of the table and kept a lot of clean sheets. I’ve felt like we needed another Mane in that formation to play in the three. Was glad to see we were effective in the 4-3-3 and hopefully we can change as situations and personnel dictate

I mean if we had a striker we could play it with mane, firmino and Salah behind him and it'd be awesome... I just think Salah is more effective from the right, and he has been playing up top in a 4231

Is it my imagination or has Mo not scored most of his goals this season from the striker in a 4-2-3-1?

Without facts, I would think most of his goals came from the 4-2-3-1 because we’ve played it more. But no facts

I think you're right, but also feel like we've played that formation more this year than 433... I just meant he feels more productive and in sync when he's playing from the right

Quick review here is the breakdown; didn’t count number of games in each formation and this is only EPL
4-3-3 - 5 goals
4-2-3-1 - 11 goals (3 penalties in the 11)
4-4-1-1 - 1 goal might count this in the 4231 column

United will be without Martial and Lingard when we visit Old Trafford. That’s big

Also, this is by no means news and it’s been discussed plenty in here but saw this tweet and it still blows my mind

@JNorthcroft Just read yesterday's Liverpool accounts.

Confirm how, from 1/6/16 to 31/5/18, buying Mane, Salah, VVD, Robertson, Wijnaldum, Ox was funded by sales of Coutinho, Sakho, Benteke, Ibe, Wisdom, Allen,Stewart, Lucas, Ilori etc

Alisson with funds for reaching CL final last year. Michael Edwards
