I don't assign much credibility to the article below, but I'll query the forum about it anyway: If such a thing came to pass and Coutinho signed with either of the other EPL clubs listed (because I don't think there's a chance in hell Klopp would approve a high-cost return to Liverpool), would Philip Coutinho top the list of most-hated former players in Liverpool history?

He left a bad taste in my mouth, and I’m sure others as well, with his exit at Liverpool. At this point I’d say the hate level is on the low side but it would certainly crank up a few notches if he were to join another EPL team.

If he were to join United specifically, I think the level of hatred would go way up...

I don’t have hard feelings for Coutinho... I didn’t like how it went down in the summer.. but the amount of money we got for him was ridiculous...
