After you’ve played for Klopp, how do you want to play for anyone else?

Hell no... wear what you want, brother.
BTW, I love this team and I love Mo Salah.

"I said since day one here that I'm happy here at Liverpool and I want to show my football here. If you look at me now and five years ago, everything has changed -- mentally, physically... everything."
The 25-year-old has scored 36 goals in all competitions so far this season, his best goal-scoring tally as a professional player -- and Salah credits Jurgen Klopp's request for him to occupy more central positions as the reason for his increased threat in front of goal.
"[Klopp] changed something in me," Salah told ESPN. "Now I play closer to the goal than in any club before. If you see my goals and everything I did in my last four or five years, every year is better than the year before."
quote:
"It's a dream to win the Premier League here after a long time," he said. "A club that hasn't won it for a long time, it's my dream -- honestly. I want to win it with this club."

One of the things that impresses me most about Liverpool and Klopp's attackers is that they will not fall at the touch of a defenders breath on their neck in the box, they will power through and attempt the shot on goal.
And, unfortunately, I think Liverpool F.C. as a whole gets PUNISHED in the Premiere League for that effort rather than rewarded.
But the reward comes when this happens:
https://streamable.com/fiofv
How many attackers, not just in the PL (I'm looking at you, Tottenham) but in world football as a whole, would have just decided to fall when the pulling and grabbing and, finally, leg-kicking occurred in the box? Now, to be accurate, Mo *did* all at that final leg-kick, but that was only because he was legit tripped. And, while falling, still put the shot on (and in) goal.
Bobby and Mo and (to a little lesser extent) Sadio are all powerful and compact players with low centers of gravity, so they don't go down easy (I've seen Sadio go down a little easy a couple of times but, in general, he does his utmost to stay upright and attack though).
I think diving is cheating. I think falling at any form of legit touch in the box is cheating. I admire how our attackers play the game in this (and other) regard and I think its a form of Klopp's respect for the game itself that he coaches this. You just DON'T see Klopps attackers go down easily or intentionally.
(P.S. As a speculative aside, its obvious that Salah is a *very* devout Muslim. I wonder if that might have something to do with it for him, i.e. diving is cheating and cheating is wrong and "lying"?)

I think embellishing a foul isn’t necessarily cheating, more just because players realize refs are shite and only give you calls if you go to ground.
Suarez is a great example. I don’t consider him someone who dives, but his ankles got clipped a lot, and if they were, he was probably going down. He did try to fight through some and stay on his feet at times, but he’d mainly just get the calls when he went to ground. Sadly, that’s just the state the game is in right now

One thing I feel like getting lost in Salah’s performance yesterday is how good Mané played. Seems like he is finally understanding how he needs to play on the left side and almost imitating Coutinho at times.
He was dropping deeper and inside a lot more than usual and actually finding space more than usual. He still made some good diagonal runs in behind at times, but he was much more creative and contributed to the build up yesterday and it even helped open space for Robertson’s overlapping run (see the second goal).
Obviously Salah and Firmino’s movement upfront is first class but Sadio has always looked to me like he was just trying to figure out how to play from the left and how to fit in with the other two, but yesterday he was on point pretty much all game.

Keita with a goal and assist against Bayern
Played more advanced today as a true 10 and looked really good, especially on the counter

I've decided to move into a safe-space bubble where Mo Salah doesn't consider moving on from Liverpool for a "dream team" or to "play for championships" but prefers to stay at Liverpool because he prefers to play for Jurgen Klopp and he wants to win championships there.
Its nice in here.

He said those very words a few days ago. Feels like Klopp has changed something within him and he wants to win a title here

Eh, just wait until Barca and Real start calling.
I've learned to not get too attached to these guys and just appreciate their greatness.
North England is not the kindest place to men used to being in the sun.

Seems to me that Mo plays pretty good in the snow.

Cou and Suarez had no problem either. While they were here.

The difference to me is, Mo joined us while we are in the UCL.. and as long as we are in the competition and competing for the EPL, we stand a better chance of keeping him..
Luis never played UCL with us and the one season Cou did (prior to this year), we flamed out horribly..
Anyway, I don't think he goes this summer and right now, RM is the only threat..
Barca has too much money tied up in their forwards as is, and if the Griezmann rumors are true...
PSG are really the only other team that could buy him and they are also maxed out against FFP..

Until we start winning meaningful hardware, I think in the age of the super spending City, United, Barca, Madrid, PSG and Bayern, we need to prepare ourselves for the NON-UK players to eventually want to jump to one of those clubs if we won't match the wages offered.
Once we start regularly competing for the EPL title, and making and winning finals domestically and abroad, the Spanish sides are going to be more appealing.
I'd like Klopp to take advantage of his German connections and bring talent from the Bundesliga to Liverpool. Bleacher Report (I know, I know) posted the depth chart for the German National team and its freaking disgusting. Their going to leave an entire team that could probably get out of the group stages at home. They can't all play for Bayern. Go get them.
