Doctored, I assume. I only saw a highlight vid, but I thought he at caught him. Is this like when that Madrid newspaper photoshopped somebody offsides? Haha

could just be shitty resolution. you cannot really make out pepe's studs. you can see alves's sock move as if it was caught by pepe's cleat
ETA: maybe a missing frame

Yes alves flops and so does di Maria. I mean I guess its okay when Adebayor shoves both hands in the face of busquets...
I mean, honestly....I'd rather my player shove someone in the face to get the ball instead of roll around like a 5 year old in a temper tantrum on the ground.
Today was an abomination of an excuse for a football match.
I would give anything to see the US play Spain and see one of those bitches falls down for no reason. Then see Josey or Clint straight up knock their pussy asses out with a punch to the jaw. Even if it cost us losing the match nothing would make me happier. These pathetic excuses for professional athletes need to be put in their place.

So I am at half time now so I am not going to read this thread yet. However both of these teams can gdiaf. Seriously. I have not seen a bunch of pussies playing soccer. regardless of who wins here I will be cheering for Man U and the Mexican rather than these two teams of terrible actors.

You will feel the same way after the second half.

Don't know if I could go that far. I would assume rule number one of the soccer board has to be "frick Mexico".

Dempsey is actually the one player on the US team that I think is guilty of diving. He doesn't act like he just stepped on a landmine, but he does dive.

that was an awesome game by the us, but come on spain is vastly superior

good for dempsey... we won't ever be at the level of certain countries, but if we gotta do what we gotta do, then do it. idgaf.

there are at least 10 teams that i would consider to be vastly superior to the us on paper. there are no teams that will destroy the us 9times/10. we run enough to keep most teams w/i two goals, barring disaster.

barcelona threatening action w/uefa at mourinho
Written like that, it sure does sound like they're working together!
Look, I think conspiracies are generally stupid. I think in this case Jose has certainly gone too far particularly with the silly UNICEF comment. That said, Barcelona have had quite the run of luck with officials the past few years. Now that AuTig is gone, I think we can all safely admit that Chelsea got boned in '09. Motta's red card last year was outrageous. My thoughts about RvP's red (and Valdes/Adibal's lack there of) are well known on this board. Pepe's red was very harsh today. Despite those favorable incidents, a conspiracy like that is very very hard to believe and probably should have been left to fuming fans instead of the manager of Real Madrid.
That said, questioning UEFA's integrity is going to get him boned. I have no idea what Spanish defamation law is, but he might be boned there considering the comments he made about Barca.

mourinho doesn't really have a filter
he usually goes on and on about how he can't say what he thinks, and then, he says what he thinks, anyway
before the end of last season, english press recorded him talking about how much he hated coaching in italy
he is funny and an incredible manager, but he can go from one to melodramatic in under a minute
adds to him as a character, i think

Yeah I know just messing with you.
I think we can all agree Jose is in for quite the touchline ban.
