Yeah, I found that interesting that he is negotiating with the bank to buy their debt, instead of with them...
When Hicks said that he wanted to quadruple his initial investment with the sale...I though this may be a long process. But, I think the bank wants to be done with them. I just hope it happens in time to give Roy enough time in the transfer window...

Best part is Hicks and Gillette: a) have basically no say in the deal, b) will make little to no profit.

I really couldn't agree with you anymore.
August 15 can't come fast enough.

Im in the market to buy Liverpool's new home jersey; however, I'm not willing to pay the $80 bucks or whatever to buy it off the official website. Anyone know where I could get one for less?
Preferably a Joe Cole.
Thanks

Fernando Torres staying put
Good. I would rather not have to hate him.
So yeah, this is big news for Liverpool. Quite a summer for Hodgson!!

I'm still depressed we essentially traded you Joe Cole plus a few million for Yossi.

Yossi.
The jew is no scrub. Also, there are question marks concerning Cole's health. We will just have to wait and see with him. I remain optimistic.

getting Cole plus 5 mil is the only thing that makes losing Yossi tolerable for me. He was honestly one of the only bright spots all last season. Given a manager who doesn't shite on him, I really wonder what he's capable of.

Yeah, I've always thought Yossi Benayoun was a good player.

I agree, unfortunately I don't see him getting significant PT in that Chelsea midfield. Especially if Essien and Deco can stay healthy.

I get chills every time I think of that game.

He owns Herrod's and wears a plaid blazer with a plaid shirt. WTF?

Any fan of the game agrees with you. Second best game in history IMO. Only outdone by the 1982 WC semi between France and West Germany.
