Davies is starting. I think that's pretty big.

Kane at least missing Chelsea game next week

quote:

Chelsea have received an injury boost ahead of their London derby against Tottenham Hotspur next week, with Harry Kane expected to be ruled out due to an ankle injury.

Kane was forced off at half-time on Wednesday in Tottenham's 3-1 defeat to Liverpool after injuring both of his ankles.

And Jose Mourinho confirmed post-match that he expects Kane to be out for a few weeks.

So now Kane, Reguillon, and Lo Celso. Have to pray that Vini & Bale are ready to go

I'm all aboard the conspiracy theory that Kane gets "hurt" every time Tom Brady is in the Superbowl so that he can go watch him.

Big match today but I'm having a really hard time getting excited about anything Spurs right now.

Same here

Very uninspiring vs fricking Brighton of all teams. Completely unacceptable but I'm sure they'll outdo themselves today. Chelsea should steamroll us

Put me in this camp as well.

I'm still going to watch, but I may actually do some work during the match for once.

No Sanchez in the Starting XI gives me a sliver of hope

Just realized Kante isn't starting. Gives me a bit of hope for Ndombele to run riot.

Full expecting Alonso to get his usual goal, however.

I generally have no problems with Mourinho's tactics, but I wish Spurs would stop with the half-assed pressing. It's so dis-jointed and never works.

If you want to be a low block team, that's fine. Just stop with the terrible pressing scheme.

Thread title has been changed indefinitely until we win a trophy

Tired of this team with our usual catastrophic backline errors that occur every game and U17 level of offensive firepower

I feel like I'm watching the end of the Poch-era right now.

Just absolutely dross.

Honest question here - is Bale completely washed? Seems odd that Kane is hurt and he doesn't even get on the field.

Yeah, besides freekicks his legs are just gone.

I'm still glad Spurs brought him back, but no way should they get him on loan against next season.
