Just a gut feeling. He wants out. He wants to be at City. This is Levy playing hardball. By next window Spurs will be out of contention and City may end up paying less.

Buy Ronaldo as short term stop gap finding striker of the future. I'm okay with it as long as they find the striker.

Still prefer Haaland.

Yup. CR7 is short term fix and Haaland is the future. shite, if everyone would've known Mbappe was pissy, maybe they should've targeted him.

“Tomorrow: Cristiano Ronaldo will say goodbye to his Juventus teammates. The player has already emptied his locker at the Serie A club.”

So this is the biggest football news of the day. If we struck out on Kane and got CR for $30M we won. Now go after Haaland ASAP. Now City have the means to make Pep’s last two years very memorable.

Agreed, the prospect of KDB lobbing passes at Ronaldo is positively intoxicating.

As an added bonus we also get to see the ManU fans melt.

Welp. Talk about your all time backfires. What a total shitshow. How is it that 12 hours ago it was a done deal and all of the sudden United enter the picture and Pep says we aren’t interested??? What changed? Frick Jorge Mendes or whatever his name is. I’m still think we need a striker but we won last season sans striker so it’s not out of the question.
Yes. I’m pissy hot. Frick United.

We’ll be fine. Ferran looks really good at the forward spot. We rolled Arsenal with ease, like we should have.

Ronaldo is where he belongs. If United didn’t want him; we’d take him. I’d honestly rather not have him if United legitimately wanted him.

At the end of the day; City has a very, very good team.

ManU by most accounts now has the highest payroll in the EPL. So we’re free of hearing “oil club” and “they bought their championships”. So when City finishes above them on the table it will be all the more gratifying.

Agreed; but, if forced to choose between Pep and a plan and Ole and a 36yo Ronaldo I’ll take Pep every time.

I’m not thrilled with the prospect of running the false 9 all season. That said, I do believe in Pep and recognize that City is positioned well for the next signing window.

We’ll be fine. At the end of the day, we aren’t Arsenal.
