It's actually Premier League policy that a loanee can't play against his parent club. Most other leagues don't have the same policy; see Martin Odegaard lighting up Real Madrid for Real Sociedad late last season.
Man United benefited late last season when they played Sheffield United in Project Restart and Dean Henderson couldn't play in goal as SUFC was fighting for a European place. Helped us finish 3rd. :)

When is the last time MC had a negative goal differential?
Will be 8 behind the Scousers after this round, with no real hope for catching up. I don't think the return of Aguero and Jesus will really be much help. Defense is looking like it's capable of being better than last year, but the offense is just not there.
I'm thinking no European football next year.
It was a good run.
*Question about match with Leeds: Is it legal for defenders to just hop on the back of man with ball for, essentially, a "piggy-back" ride? It was certainly legal for Leeds.

Hope so. This team really needs Jesus (Gabriel) and Sergio for, if anything, the threat of scoring. Never realized how important they were until we had neither. They allow Sterling and Bernardo to create.
