I said it in the summer. We needed another holding midfielder and central defender. Spent all that money and look at this shite fest.

We've looked like shite, but I think its more about taking time for so many new players to gel..

We do have some holes, the biggest is... we haven't had a DM since Fabinho... we are also missing someone that DLP trait that has the TAA gave us..

I think we'll be okay in time with this group.. but we need to address some things to be a dominant team..

edit: Macca has been the biggest mystery this year... he clearly has never been 100% since the start of the season...

Really need the boys to come out firing after the international break. They’re all I have left sports wise!

Gakpo could have scored 4 goals easily in this game.
Salah had a point blank attempt that he didn’t even come close to putting on frame.

I choose to be positive in situations like this. At least Amorim will be around longer

United are still shite. On another day they ship 4-5 goals.

It's tough to find a lot to be positive about right now. Konate the man at the scene of the crime yet again.

The football "gods" always punish the teams that "win the summer"
I thought we would be immune to this but....not so

Isak has been horrible. Horrid. Salah is done.

I"m sure he can turn it around, but Ekitike deserves to be on the pitch the full 90, every game.
Salah has been the bigger disappointment this year to me.

Not that it was a choice of either/or, but it would have been a lot nicer to get Geuhi rather than Isak.

Can’t blame Kirkez for that one… 1-0 Frankfurt.

2-1 Liverpool
Robertson with a great pass to Ekitike who scored easily after running past everyone.
VVD on a corner kick.

We can score 5+ goals in this game. Problem is our defense looks weak.

And Konate just scored from a corner
3-1

5-1 now and Salah is coming on in the 73rd minute.

Think that's a smart move and hope he can score here. Would be nice for him to see the back of the net after a rough start to the year and hopefully this game can bring some confidence back to the whole team.

Some horrible set piece defending by Frankfurt today. I hope we can look back at this game as a turning point in this season. Good to see Wirtz with two goal contributions before coming off.
