I saw some stats in that weird circle graph the nerds use nowadays and Adams was the DM most like Partey, who has been playing like a man who knows the sexual assault charges won't stick. I think in a double pivot, McKennie and Adams balance each other out, but Adams is athletic enough to play the 6 like a prime Makelele. The double pivot would maximize McKennie's insane ability to cover ground though.

I think we’re about to shift to a 4-3-3 (looking back at those world cup pre-christmas friendlies we were mainly 4-3-3 probably anticipating these signings)

The forward options are looking good too

Resurrected Bamford
In form Rodrigo
Gnonto
Summerville
Sinisterra
Harrison
Rutter
Aaronson

Sinisterra is so good, i hope he stays fit

I really like Marsch's approach. Maybe he can hire Gregg to set up that midfield, because I think even Gregg haters can admit that midfield was possibly the best we've ever fielded.

Who is going to play on the right?

Summerville or Sinisterra, maybe Rutter

In the midfield i imagine McKennie.

That's a good read. I'll be interested to see how the counterpress develops with more athletic players in the center. McKennie finna eat.

Makes the Rutter signing all that more important

A Yorkshire pudding wrap according to Tyler. That sounds gross though

That may actually make it easier on Jesse. I was going to post later in the week to ask which one you guys would start this weekend. Rodrigo has been scoring but the attack seems to flow much better with Bamford and his touch/hold up play. Rodrigo’s goals seem to come after a scramble or right place, right time situation. I also know there’s something to be said for that.

I think it will be Gnonto, Bamford, and Rutter across the front and agree with Weston going straight in. How would the three midfielders play, Weston in front of Roca/Adams? Some seem to think Roca’s passing may put him in that spot.

Wow so apparently Harrison was actually at Leicester yesterday for the medical but we pulled the plug. Didn’t realize it was THAT close

What kind of look is this? Does this mean Jack wanted to go and things fell through? Did the club want him to go and things fell through. Sounds like an awkward situation now that it didn’t work. Or is this something that typically happens around the deadline?

I think he went just in case something happened (probably advised by his agent)

The article says he never asked to leave and they’re hopeful they can agree a new contract

S and Crazy, I enjoyed this analysis on how McKennie fits into Leeds.

Reports today saying Jackie backed out of the Leicester city engagement when Leeds agreed to match the salary from the contract offered to him by Leicester.

Suppose his agent was using another club to set the market for negotiations with Leeds, but I dunno guess Jackie would have been gone if the contract offer was to much.

Welp that sucks, should have just chunked all the kids off the bench instead of the regular first team guys.

Oh well depleting squad depth injuries and Leeds are like peanut butter and jelly.

We had a good run for that half week when everyone was back

It’s always one guy comes back= one guy goes out

Gotta think that also played a part in keeping Harrison even though they play different positions

Man if Paddy gets a tweak we could be really screwed here.

Haven’t seen Joe’s loan details but assume it includes a recall option
