Sitting at Louis Armstrong waiting to board. Insert all jealousy and hate filled comments here. If you want me to pick you up a souvenir let me know. Don't bother though, unless you're Beast, LFC, pablo, TFC, Shelvey, Cash. I'm only going to one stadium and one alone (ok maybe my closet love for the goons gets me sneaking my way over to the Emirates, but don't tell anyone).

Have fun in the states douchebags.

If you buy me a Jonjo kit that just says "Alopecia" on the back I'd probably wear it pretty frequently

I know someone that has that disease and I think of them every single time I see Shelvey on TV.

If anyone was wondering....it was incredible. The stadium is actually still really original. They have made little to no changes to the locker room, boot room, or press room, or anything since its building. Incredible seeing all the tradition and history and actually knowing that men sat in those rooms 100 years ago and it hasn't changed since. It's good to see in this fricked up world of modern soccer, tradition and history still mean something.

I encourage all of you to make it to the stadia for whichever team you support. It's really an indescribable experience. I have goosebumps just thinking about it. And they have all kinds of retro kits in the shops. Badass stuff you cant find in the states. All in all it was definitely worth the 70 fricking pounds I had to pay to get there from London via train. Still can't believe it was that expensive.

If I would've seen your post before I went I would've gotten you something more suitable/respectable instead:

BPG, I was in London a couple weeks ago. Decided to go out and view the soccer grounds. Saw Craven Cottage, Emirates, Stamford Bridge, and Wembley. After, I decided to stop and get some fish and chips in a pub.

It was a fantastic day until I was stuck in the London Underground for 2 1/2 fricking hours! I missed my flight and had to pay an extra 175 pounds to be put on the next flight. frick the London Underground. frick British Airways. frick Chelsea, Fulham, and Arsenal for existing. frick the piss poor dollar.

So all in all, I won't be able to go to Liverpool when I am back in London in a couple days. Instead, I'll sit in the airport for 24 fricking hours.

Yeah you could have. Everything in the house you touched with it would have turned to gold.

Not back yet. Will be in Vienna until August 10th studying abroad for law school. We decided to hop the isles and go to Brussels and Amsterdam before-hand.

Jesus Christ man that sucks. Yeah we got stuck in the underground our first day there for like 4 hours. Trying to figure out how to get tube to the train station and switch to the rail to get tickets. Was a nightmare. After that trial by fire though we ended up getting the hang of it for the next 3 days though. Give London another chance. Once you understand how to get around its real easy and the city is incredibly fun.

Sorry to hear about Anfield and Liverpool though. I'm sure you'll make it there eventually though.

I've been to several big European cities before, including London. I am very familiar with the metros and have no problem using them. What I meant was, I was actually stuck. Like at a standstill in one of the tunnels. For 30 minutes at a time. It was ridiculous. The delays were unimagineable.

While stuck on that underground, I read an article in one of their newspapers about how the last year provided Londoner's with more delays than ever before. The average Londoner experienced a combined 3 days of delays over the course of 2010!
