Board sold him behind my back to PSG for 61.5m GBP

I'm not too far into the season, so I think that I'm going to start a new save

Have you sold any other big names? I had a lot interest in Juan Mata, so I sold him and brought in Keisuke Honda (AC Milan) and Ross Barkley (Everton) with that money. I still get two good players (Barkley has potential to be better than Mata) and they cost me less than in wages alone.

Is this how you're supposed to do it? Or do you do big time player for big time player....

Does anyone play the mobile version like on Android or IOS? Curious if anyone else has had problems with the players just passing the ball randomly when holding Sprint and doing a few other crazy things on its own without you pushing that button.

shite is really pissing me off when you sprint toward the goal get ready to shoot and the guy passes the ball backwards to a teammate. Frustrating as shite.

I've tried adjusting every setting in the game and it still does it. Have searched the interwebs and found nothing so far.

I sold Benzema and bought Jonathan Biabiany (who may as well be a FIFA superstar) and Paul Pogba

Depends upon what you want to do, really

I can't keep a clean sheet to save my life. Did it all the time in previous versions.

Jonathan Biabiany
he was a classic pick up for me on '11

almost no skill whatsoever, but he could blow past any defender

did the same with Dana Richards when I started a career with Leicester in the championship

My review of Alexis Sanchez in FUT:

- Fast as shite and can do magical things on the counter
- Not sure if he's worth the 42,000 I paid for him, but he's up to 50-60k depending on the time so it may be a great investment
- Wish he was as good as top-tier players like Eddie Johnson /s

Anyone on Origin want to play me?

My squad is sitting at 150,200 coins in value between my Staring XI and the only two bench players I have. I'm having a little trouble defensively, but once I can afford Ramires at CDM, I feel it'll be better.

Recent Opinions:

- Defending is so stupid hard and inconsistent.

- No matter how many times I check to make sure my auto-switching is off, it auto-switches to defenders and fricks up my positioning.

- If the defenders are going to be so erratic, make the keepers as insane as they were in the demo. If I'm going to have to see Rojo at the top of the box trying to pull up some hold up play bullshite, at least make sure that my keeper can block shite.

- I've tried the 4-4-2, 5-2-2-1, and 4-3-3 (2), and I'm seeing that I may have to switch to the OP 5-3-2.

- I still love the game... sometimes.

- FUT is fun as shite with a BPL team with all of the new additions to the league. Sadly, everyone in England plays and drives the cost of these players up.

- I've been slacking on trading, but I hit a nice windfall competing on rare gold contracts against auto-buyers. I got the card 1/3 times, but the profit was around 75%. Spent around 15,000 coins and turned it into 27,500. Check recent YouTube videos on best things to buy. I lucked out last year with it.

- I've been so annoyed with FUT sometimes that I've started a career with Charlton to turn them into UCL winners once again. I miss Bradley Wright-Phillips so much.

I have no idea how to make money on trading. But defending is pretty hard because when I try to switch defenders it never goes to the one I want it to, especially when the player with the ball is near the top of the box.

Started my first ultimate team earlier today. Got enough coins for a gold pack and got some pretty standard players, but I've actually grown to look some of my guys I got to start off with. I guess I have to get used to all these add-ons to improve fitness and contracts and everything that throws me off and same with the changing difficulty. Played Boca Juniors who was giving me fits at times, but ended in a 1-1 draw, next game I played Derby County and won 18-0 where I could basically just steal the ball from them once they got past the halfway line, then pretty much dribble up the field as the defenders would back off to give me enough space to shoot at the top of the 18.....what gives???

Did you accidentally change the difficulty to amateur?

I didn't touch anything but I saw something earlier where different games were different difficulties. Can I change it to be consistent?

To make coins trading, you have to really learn the market and popular players. For example, I was buying rare gold player contracts for 300 (got to be quick) and selling them for 550. It really, really takes patience. I spent more time learning that last year than playing the game, and I played a TON of FIFA last year. Buying Isco for ~9000 and selling him for ~11,000 was popular this week, but the market caught on. You just have to sort of find a market you know and "play it". Trading is just as hard as learning to play the game itself. Once you get better at buying and selling, you learn to like FUT far more. Futhead and FutDB are EXCELLENT places to find out what someone's worth and their trends. There used to be a better site run by JP Flathead (which I actually helped him fix a bug), but he stopped this year due to some issues last year where people were banned for using his mobile app.

To get quick coins, play single player seasons. It's easy, but those coins help a lot. Also, don't get packs with coins unless you have a ton to waste. The average ROI isn't above 7500 for the only packs worth opening. Using points is fine, and I do it occasionally through the Mexican Origin portal (Google how to buy cheap games from the Mexico Origin site to figure that out at your own peril) for the cheap shite. It's not worth it with coins, though. I packed a ton of great cards last year, including TIF Hazard, and I still wouldn't ever recommend it for coins. Figure out what you need and use the market to fill out the squad. I know I keep saying I will, but I really need to write a decently long (~3000 words) crash course on FUT.

That's how single player UT works as far as I'm aware.

I know I shouldn't buy packs because the odds aren't great, but they're just too damn fun to open. I did get a Griezmman and Rakitic in my last two, so I'll probably sell those two for a decent roi since I'm building a prem squad

That's kinda what I figured just taking a quick look at the transfer market, but I just kinda said screw it and got the pack just out of pure curiosity.

I've found that popular, relatively inexpensive, Premier League players are the most forgiving.

The secondary pressure/double team button (R1 on the PS4) is your best friend in defending this season.

I got beat so many times with my defenders that I hardly ever switch to them. Just hang with midfielders and let the backs bring their own pressure...they defend true to their stats instead of you just stabbing wildly.

Then you can use the midfielders to anticipate and intercept passes or force attackers in directions they don't want to go.
