Tough year last year.
Going to be a tough year this year.

Richarlison-out. Got $50mil plus extras just in the nick of time to avoid inducing FFP penalties.

Bunch of dead weight-out (Delph, Kenny, Glyfi, Tosun, Gomes)

Kean may be offloaded by Juventus, which would mean roughly $25mil to us.

Wouldn't surprise me to see Dele leave, bc after he appears in like 9 more matches, we owe Tottenham like $15mil.

We got Tarkowski for free, and just signed his teammate, Dwight McNeil for $20mil (which seems like an extreme amount). We will signed Ruben Vinagre from Sporting Lisbon via Wolves, so reinforcements are on the way.

Gordon is set to have a major season, and maybe DCL and Grey won't be made of glass, and we can score some goals.

Pickford is solid as always.

Prob going to run with a 5-1-3-1, with Patterson/Coleman and Mykolenko screaming up sidelines.

Doucoure guaranteed to start in midfield.

Grey (if/when healthy) and Gordon on the wings.

If Rondon touches the pitch, we are guaranteed relegation.

Up the Toffees!
Nil Satis, Nisi Optimum!

I think I'm a lot less confident in Gordon than most

Tark was nice business. Davies is a horrendous liability.

Gordon is confident and will run at players, which is a major asset in our limited lineup.

Davies is an academy grad, but should not be in starting 11 cond next weekend.

More on the dubious Dwight McNeil signing:

Not only was Dwight McNeil part of a Burnley side that were relegated in 2021-22, but no player attempted as many shots as he did without scoring in 2021-22 (52).

That was the most shots without scoring a goal in a Premier League season by a player since 2011-12

I think he’ll be more productive in a non-Dycheball system

Price is kinda high but he’s still young.

Reeks of desperation and wasted money, which has been a trademark of the Moshiri era.

McNeil creates chances though. Fee aside I have no issue with him, I just hope we're not devoting too much of a very limited pool to him.

Frank musta told the board sign new players or I’m out, cause that’s 5 signings in like 5 days. Or, the board panicked getting slacked by Mighty Minny United last week.

Rumors swirling that Barkley may return too, but he will be as welcome as Rafa was.

Not sure how we’re finding money, but:
Ohana sighed for like $30mil
Guyene back for $8mil
Cody from wolves on loan and option for buy for $12mil after season

Decent effort against Chelsea.

Have a strong feeling Rondon will start this weekend, and I couldn’t hate that more.

Guyene fell through

Chelsea coming hard after Gordon.
We rejected a $40mil bid Sunday.
Rejected a $45mil bid today.
They paid $47mil or so for Sterling.

Gordon is said to want to leave, after being a lifelong Toffee. Can’t be pleased with this process.

I expect Gordon is out now, Telegraph reporting he wants to leave. I just hope we get top dollar. 50m is incredible and nobody should be fighting for him to stay IMO. He's the type of guy I want at Everton but he's simply not worth 45m+ to EFC right now.

Sounds like Gana might be back on.

I can’t keep up, but I agree with the assessment that he prob needs to leave at that price.

I thought yesterday was solid. Can't settle for 1 indefinitely, but it was ok.

Marsch throwing a tantrum all match about absolutely nothing was enjoyable. He and the crowd were in a frenzy all game like they'd been denied multiple obvious pens, when everything they were frustrated with was of Leeds' own making.
