Don’t think mount did either honestly.

That's fair but at least Mount will attempt to advance the ball forward. I just get so frustrated with Watchung Jorghino make lateral and backwards passes all match

Mount will also put in effort pressuring the ball, tracking back, and defending. Jorginho will do nothing. Can't believe we didn't sell him this summer and that he's on the field ahead of Kovacic

I’m with the Jorginho hate. If he’s not gonna be fast, he needs to be quick and smart with the ball making one touch line breaking passes. He traps it, then looks around while it’s too late, then passes it back.

Could not agree more. I won't shed a tear if we don't resign him.

Weird vibe to the match. Not a lot juice on the Chelsea side. Cucurella looks good though.

Lampard knows he doesn't have an attack without Richarlison. Looks like he's been dropping to 5 at the back and playing the long ball for the attack. Not many chances to get forward

Yeah that ?? is the symbol for fire- great looking kits. Missing Kovacic today. Silva is a freaking ageless beast.

Thought sterling mount and puli looked decent, Everton had a lot of people back the whole time. Not a lot of through balls by the midfield.

Maybe Drogba can come out of retirement to lead the line. Probably wouldn’t be worse than Havertz up there

Jorginho is gonna lead the team in scoring again via pens exclusively. These grind them out 1-0, 1-1, 2-1 matches suck and is the norm with this side. Spurs gonna eat next weekend.

This. It may not be what we wanted offensively but a win is a win. Especially against a team we’ve had recent difficulties with and who hasn’t lost an opening match in a decade

Everton’s group of nobodies played our group of overpaid prima donnas straight up all game. They had no strikers and still had better opportunities at goals. Something has to be done before the window closes. Hell, let Broja start he was actually active unlike Kai.
