Chilly should be fit for Magpies. His injury was a back spasm which will keep him out of England’s game this week but shouldn’t keep him out of the lineup for Blues. Silva may not play due to playing for Brazil this week. Pulisic getting three treatments a day to try and get fit but I’d hold him out and let that hammy continue to heal. Havertz may be ready after recovering from COVID.

It’ll be nice to see those guys all on the field at one time one day.

Despite the injury woes, Chelsea is unbeaten in the last 8 games which include 5 wins and 4 clean sheets.

Still riding with Frank.

If only Mendy had played against Southampton.

And West Brom.

Blues will be without Pulisic, Havertz and Silva against Magpies. Chillwell should play. Not feeling great about this.

If pulisic gets injured again (on his own muscle/ligament strain) this season does the club start to look at other options?

You def make a competitive signing at the position. But i dont think you cut your losses. Even a healthy pulisic for 20 games total a year is worth having around.

Keep, but dont count on him.

The muscular/ligament injury is the most frustrating because time is the only thing that will heal it. Put him on the shelf for a few months and let him heal. It’s just going to get re-aggravated if he comes back early. Blues have enough firepower now to hang on until he comes back, especially with Ziyech rounding into form now.

Hazard gonna be available on the cheap next summer if he keeps it up.

Watch him come back to Chelsea and be in proper form.

Strong first half with little to show. Werner won’t miss many like that. Get a quick one early after the break and coast.

Can't miss the shot if you don't take the shot!

Would take Eden back but it would probably send CP packing.

TBH I think Pulisic is going to have a hard time getting back in the team. I feel like the team looks better having Tammy to play off of, and Pulisic is going to have a hard time displacing Ziyech or Werner.

Nah, we are dangerously thin at winger. If pulisic leaves it’ll be bc he can’t stay healthy. When he’s on and in form he’s a world class player. Trouble is staying on the field.

Pulisic is often injured
Ziyech has already had one knock which kept him out of games this year
Werner is more valuable at ST despite Tammys recent run of form imo
CHO is still trying to return to form from his injury
Mount. Is. Not. A. Winger.

So you’ve got 3 true wingers (2with big injury questions) and two last resort options. Even if hazard did come back I’d still like to see another winger.

Personally I think we are playing the long game to bring Sancho home. The fact that he didn’t move this past summer bodes well imo. Sancho, a CB, and Rice would be another hugely fantastic window.

Tammy isn’t very good. Any lineup with him as our starting ST is suboptimal.

Werner and Mendy have been the signings of the year. The defense has been night and day since Kepa got benched.

Don’t forget Chillwell who was MOTM today. And Silva for bringing experience and calm to the back line. Havertz will round into form soon. Ziyech will be bad arse as well. The window was unbelievable regarding the top flight talent brought in. Adding Rice would be phenomenal and he wants to be in blue.

The future is Blue

The next four PL matches will show our true form. TOT then Leeds at the Bridge, then at Everton and Wolves. Tough stretch.
