Neither of these guys suck. There's a reason they were in high demand. When they have a real manager, they'll be fine. Havertz might not produce for us because many teams aren't set up to use him properly. If that's the case, he'll leave, thrive, and people will talk about how we let another elite player leave like Salah/De Bruyne/etc

I would put money on Werner coming good. Your Havertz take sounds pretty spot on as well.
I think Ziyech has the highest ceiling, but being a consistent winger may be one of the hardest things to do in the sport.

Clearly the answer is bring in a German manager to replace Frank to bring out the best in Kai and Timo.... not as silly as it sounds actually lol

Talking about confidence and lack luster and not trying.
Confidence: you take a team that was 3rd in Goals Fir. And spend millions bring in almost exclusively more attack. Showing little confidence in a team that was 3rd in GF. What does that do to a players psych.
Lackluster/not trying:
Werner- bailed on his teammates of four years to shop for a house instead of finishing out Leipzig champions league campaign. What kind of teammate in locker room do you think he is.
Werner is like Tebow. Played in an offensive system and now is in a new system and can’t coop. And can be argued going from NCAA to NFL is like bundesliga to EPL. (I love bundesliga but EPL is deeper and tougher)
Extra:
Chelsea tied for tenth if Goals Against. You bring in a keeper and a 36 year old that only faced competition at the EPL level the few knockout championships league for the last 8 years.
You just got an older version of David Luis. Minus the 7 years of EPL experience.

You're comparing a supposed step up from the Bundesliga to the amateur to professional jump in American football? Are you joking?

I honestly know very little about American football. So probably should not have made that comparison. But though process was people describe the NFL as a lot more physical than college. And people describe the EPL as a lot more physical than all other leagues minus CONCACAF on ankles.
