Pulisic

He needs to rock the New Iberia haircut.

I feel like the Krasnodar manager is probably a chess GOAT.

I just don’t understand the thought process of making Timo and Kai go the full 90. Also I guess Giroud has played his last game for Chelsea

It’s unfortunate cause I think Giroud can still provide some big goals.

I guess they think Tammy has more upside due to age but right now Giroud is better. And I agree I think we’ve seen the last of Olivier.

Decent effort today particularly in the second half. Even at 1-0 I wasn’t overly concerned because of the weakness of the other side. And Mendy is really playing well. Glad to see Blues actually run it up on someone. Interesting to see Emerson get time tonite. Hope we are fit for Burnley Sat.

So talk to me about Kai. At this stage in my life I get to watch very little soccer outside of Chelsea so I knew nothing about him prior to the move other than he was young and had a huge price tag.

I'm not giving up on him yet by any means but we are like 12 games into his career and I have no idea what he's supposed to be good.

I don't see him running at defenders with any threat or pace.

I don't see elite vision or passing.

Outside of a League Cup game he's not scoring or getting into threatening positions.

He doesn't seem to be very fast or work super hard.

What am I missing?

He has elite vision and touch. Good speed.

He’s settling into a brand new team, and I think frank should be running a 4-3-3 from now on.

Watch some highlights on him from last season.

Would you say he's demonstrated that at all so far at Chelsea?

I mean I get it but you would think occasionally he would still be able to flash individual ability regardless. I've seen almost nothing impressive from him.

I think Kai’s impressive on the ball. He very fluid and physically strong. Nice passing touch. Give him some time because I think he and Timo are going to be a solid duo.

Chelsea are very clearly hoping to build the entire team around Havertz IMO.

I agree with Randy that Kai hasn’t looked very impressive especially for the huge amount of money they spent on him. He’s young and hopefully just needs time to settle down, but he hasn’t looked the part so far. On the other hand Timo has been very impressive and seems to be legit

Unreal. Guess he just won’t amount to what his potential is. Absolutely cannot stay healthy. Hate it for him

What in the frick can you injure warming up? Surely a tiny tweak and they’re just being super cautious bc of his track record?

Kinda getting annoyed by this now. He's awesome, but we can't afford to depend on a guy who's going to be hurt for 12-15 weeks a year.
