Top 4 and FA Cup finalists don’t suck but yes, not to Chelsea standard. This club will be much improved as Roman is spending and Frank knows the issues and is rectifying them.

Oblak and Gimenez from Athletico Madrid.
If not Oblak at keeper, then Onana from Ajax.

Gimenez would be a major upgrade at CB
Lewis Dunk from Brighton would also be an upgrade. I personally go after both.

Reguilon at left back/wing. I don’t want Chillwell.

Benrahma to provide quality depth in the midfield (he is pretty damned good).

I would also pick up Declan Rice. He has played well at holding mid. He has the size and athleticism to play at CB. In the very least, he would be a great sub/replacement for Kante.

Just my .02.

Don’t understand Frank’s love for John Stones who has never impressed me. I guess because he’s inexpensive? He’s not going to improve that line.

This. His stock has fallen. He would be a nice plan C as he is still an upgrade over the current back line. I still prefer Gimenez as the primary target with Declan Rice being #2.

unless Atleti are willing to offload him for significantly less than his buyout, his recurrent muscle injuries and missing games is a giant red flag. guy just cant stay fit for more than half a year it seems.

50m would be worth the gamble for sure tho.

All true.

If he isn’t the choice, then I say go for long term stability. Perhaps Xavier Mbuyamba from Barca. He is only 18 and looks legit.

Chillwell seems imminent. Like it only if a new keeper is next.

You mean Havertz?

I think we’ve moved on from Chilwell. Foxes want a kings ransom. It’ll be one of reguilon telles or tagliafico, and id prefer them in that order.

No, Chillwell. Frank wants him and there’s been movement.

As first reported by Sam Martin, regarded as reliable amongst Leicester City’s fans, Ben Chilwell gathered together his belongings at the Foxes’ training ground earlier today. This comes ahead of an imminent medical at Chelsea

the LC twitters seem to think its happening, and Matt Law suggested earlier this week that LC have budged on their 80m valuation.

Reguilon has alot of unknowns, RM may be pushing in a buy back, and after reading a pretty detailed report on him on wagnh, not sure hes the right fit. likes to cut inside alot, right into the space where youd like to see pulisic, werner, or whichever MF is pushing up. dunno.

Tagliafico would be around 30m, will be 28 when the season starts, and then in 2 or 3 years we're looking to sign another LB for at least 30m. could buy 1 chilwell for that and get a good 7yrs if it works out well.

dont really know alot about any of these guys tbh. chilwell seemed kinda like a little bitch when we played them last.

Yes that moment where he threw a fit and allowed willian extra time to pick his cross into the box for the winner didn’t sit well with me either. Chilwell does seem to make more sense the more they move off their valuation though.

I guess it all depends on how much Roman is willing to spend, and he doesn’t appear to be slowing down any time soon.
