We just need to not slip up. Keep winning and keep a small gap between us and 5th.

Don’t we just need top 5 since City will be disqualified from Champions League?

They're appealing that decision so we can't count on it

On the goal line clearance from walker, if pulisic goes down from the Fernandinho trip right before he shoots is that a red card for fernadinho? I think it is.

I was screaming that at the time actually. I was mad he didn't go down when he missed. It was clearly him being pulled back 1 on 1. No attempt to play the ball.

A more firm strike and it wouldn’t have mattered. Can’t believe he didn’t blast that. I know the angle was tough but he finessed it because he didn’t think the defender would get there. Lucky that didn’t cost us 2 pts.

You can bet your arse a city player would have fallen down too. I dunno what’s gotten into Chelsea since morata left but you don’t see the blues falling easy.
Yes, that’s a red card. But in all honesty pulisic did all the hard work and didn’t put enough pace on the ball for the finish. Kyle walker should have never gotten to that ball to be honest.

Back to the issue, the USMNT has the same problems. Staying on your feet while being clearly fouled to try and finish the play and losing the ball often punishes you when every single player on the other teams you’re playing are dying on contact. It’s quite frustrating. Pulisic seems to be that player

But doing exactly this got Fernandinho sent off and got us the winning goal.

Last I heard he wasn’t getting as much playing time as expected which is odd. He’s expected to be on the verge of a breakthrough, but we will see what happens in the summer.

I can’t believe he wouldn’t be an upgrade from Zouma right now.

I thought he was great in the small amounts I saw him play.

I’ve always thought he’s played well for us also. Has been Wales best NT player as well so I’ve heard though I’ve not seen him play. I was surprised to see him go out on loan in the first place, but I think Frank saw more playing time for him on loan. Only he hasn’t really featured much at all at Leipzig. Still another bright young blues starlet though.

The moment when you’ve just been slapped across the face by the big dick of American exceptionalism.
