Well, we were clearly right to be mad at our transfer activity. Obviously we should be able to beat Palace regardless, but we have a serious lack of quality depth.

Michy is not even close to good enough. Willian works hard, but he does not do enough attacking wise to warrant a place in our starting XI. Hazard is still not up to speed. Cesc remains a liability when he has to defend. He only started to look nice and pull the strings late on when they were just bunkering to try to hold that well-earned lead. Cahill is not good. Etc.

We need a striker we can count on off the bench and to fill in if/when Morata is injured. We also need another winger to provide an attacking threat if Pedro isn't going to be that guy. He hasn't done much this season. We looked absolutely toothless today.

i really think the biggest mistake this summer was low balling the Llorente deal. at the very least you need a center forward to get the ball and hold onto it. Michy cant do that.

Yeah Michy is just not good. It certianly didn’t help that Kante is out too. The guy is just such an anchor for our defense.

We really should've paid whatever we needed to in order to bring in Alex Sandro, Llorente, a quality midfielder who could actually push for a place in the first team and another creative attacking midfielder/winger like Mahrez.

It hurts watching United bring on Martial or Rashford (and soon, Zlatan) when we are counting on Michy. I'm happy the youth are getting a look in, but it sucks when you're counting on Musonda to make the difference in a match when City have Bernardo Silva, Aguero or Jesus, etc. to make the difference late in a match.

That is a really good result today considering Atleti failed epically. But it's a painful result considering we were up 2-0.

Very happy with the draw.

Team still looked lazy and out of sync though.

The word is kante is given the final say so on whether or not he’s fit for today vs Roma. We need him back badly.

Not in the squad. Nainggolan is going to run the show in midfield.

I'm more worried about De Rossi being back than Nainggolan.

We have had opportunities but we honestly look nonchalant out there.

The second goal was a Rudiger frick up. He let a ball through that he thought Courtois would get and Roma pounced on it for an easy goal. The first goal was a beautiful goal with the outside of his foot. Nothing TC could do.

Overall, I feel like Roma has played with more energy and sense of urgency.
