Another win, another clean sheet, top of the league for the time being.

Get a few people healthy over the break and no injuries on international duty and October is looking nice.

7 clean sheets out of 10.

At this rate Raya is going to break Cech’s single season record.

The fixture list looks mighty straightforward. We get 4 points from the 2 Spurs and Chelsea games and I legit think we win every game the rest of the calendar year in the league. This is the beauty of making the most out of that hard arse start.

Would have taken a draw, but the win works.

Pretty much already erased the Liverpool loss

Odegaard has a MCL injury, severity unknown. Next game is not until the 18th so hopefully Kai will be making a return sometime soon.

I think Ode was getting back in the groove. He played really well against Olympiacos, easy on the eyes. And against west ham he made a pass to Timber early on in that inside channel that Timber got a shot off with. Same area Zubimendi exploited.

And I wonder if he saw that from the bench and just followed.

Saka became Arsenal’s highest goal scorer for England with that goal. Nice one.

I dislike having good players and they play every international game

Nah, having your players perform internationally is the best. Especially with the World Cup in 8 months. If we have starters for anywhere from 7-9 national teams, including a possible 4 for England, we’ll get the attention of a lot of people who are tuning in for the first time and trying to use that to latch onto a club team.

Don’t get me wrong, I love to watch them.

Just wish they could rest more

Next cycle they are combining the first two breaks into one. So no more October break.

And it will be a 3 week window with 4 games instead of two 2 week windows with 4 games.

It will give the leagues an extra week. So seems like a decent compromise.

Imagine we’ll see Kai back around the same time. Hopefully Nwaneri can get some good run, he’s been really good in his short stints so far

Okay for club and country.

When I heard he was going to miss nine games I was thinking league games which would maybe put him back closer to the end of the year.

If he comes back for the NLD he will only miss 4 league games.

I get the CL is important, but if we don't beat Madrid or Bayern it's not the end of our CL campaign. Much more worried for the league games.

Big chance for Nwaneri to step up but ultimately I think Martinelli comes back to the starting lineup and Eze moves to right 8.

I would also not be shocked to see Havertz get some time there. He and Odegaard are the best pressers in the team. Plus we WILL need to play Havertz and Big Vik together at some point so why not stick Havertz in there. I'd hate to be a central defender dealing with Havertz and Gyokeres
