Emi having a medical at Villa today. Hate to see him go, but I expected it. Leno was one of the players of the season for me last year. Getting 20m in return for Emi is pretty good considering he probably wasn't worth 5m before Leno got hurt.

I'm glad he's finally getting his chance though. Well deserved.

What I am loving about Arteta's approach is that everyone defends and everyone is a threat on the break. It is really great football to watch.

The formation has been really fluid. With us playing as a team lately you see players really have much better performances than they had in the past couple of seasons.

Definitely a good start, I think Arteta really is the guy to take us back to the top. And it's only a good thing to get performances out of the holdings and elnenys because you can either cash in or keep them to help you in what will be a huge grind this season.

Would be nice, but we will have to spend some of that on a backup keeper. I don't think they trust Macey yet.

Just saw this online

In terms of expected goals against, that was Arsenal’s best defensive performance away from home in a Premier League game for over five years.
I know Fulham sucks but Gabriel looked very strong out there.

I am genuinely worried with all the CBs that are injured currently. It's very similar to the start of last season where so many defenders were injured/unavailable.

Hate to lose him but 20 million for the backup keeper is great business.
Looks like only Torreira and Sokratis are on the way out (maybe Kola?).

They’ll bring someone in quick and cheap. I heard they’re looking at Rúnarsson from Dijon.

So Kroenke and his company, KSE, have spent not one single cent on Arsenal in the past 5 years.

No wonder it's such a struggle to just get to 5th/Europe.
