Not sure on AMN, but I'm guessing he sealed his fate against palace.

Thought process must be you have cedric, Bellerin, Tierney, Chambers and Saka that can fill in if needed. That's 3 at rb and 3 at left back.

Has Bellerin ever played left back? Anyway if we are down to him playing lb it's prob because everyone else is hurt and chambers is at rb.

Does anyone else get irritated at Arteta’s in game subs? Reminds me of Emery

Better hope Ryan is good to go next match, otherwise it will be a bloodbath with Runnarson back there.

On the bright side we looked really strong in the first half with 11.

They were down to 9 men and lost on a penalty and an absurd long range strike from Moutinho. I semi checked out during the second half, but they held their own pretty well. The game just turned to shite with the red, which tends to happen.

Runnarson will be a problem if Ryan can't go next match.

I literally cannot blame anyone for this loss.

Just sucks. This all but confirms no champions league for us through the league.

Pepe, Saka, Partey were so awesome.

I can't say I wouldn't start with

Laca
Pepe ESR Sake
Xhaka Partey

I love Auba but his link play is awful. That's not who he is. The combinations with those 6 I listed was incredible until the most accidentally BS red in history. It's always us who get f'ed by these decisions.

honestly the way Pepe has been playing on the left I’d be fine with this setup again. I’d also love to see martinelli compete with laca for the spot up top.

@Arsenal

The Football Association have confirmed to us that the red card given to David Luiz on Tuesday against Wolves will stand.

Meanwhile, Jan Bednarek gets his red card rescinded by the FA for the same type of foul.

I'm assuming their thought process is that Bednarek's shouldn't have been a foul to begin with and that Martial took a dive?

That's the only logic I can see here.

Shouldn't that have been caught by VAR though, if that is the thought process? I think since the Luiz "foul" was called by the ref and upheld by VAR, the FA doesn't want to backtrack on that decision, which is bullshite.

I would have been fine with the penalty, but a yellow should have been given instead of a red.

Is it a 3 or 1 game suspension?

I don't disagree with any of this.

I begrudgingly have to say the ref got the Luiz call correct based on the letter of the law. However, that law needs a re-write for certain.

Good. It is so unfortunate about the Wolves match. Arsenal played their best half of football in a long time. Time to step up on Saturday and get the points.

I had no problem with the Bednarek pen call too. He like lunged his body forward as he crossed his back to "unintentionally" bump Martial.

Absolutely non-sense that Luis couldn't get his overturned and Bednarek did

A stupid mistake does us in again.

That is the story of Arsenal since 2016 and it fricking sucks.

Need a LB, 2 CM, and another ST in the summer.

It feels like we are so close yet so far from the top
