How many times did Chelsea crash down on Mo and Xhaka with two players, either leading to a turnover or a near turnover? There were at least six or so occasions that I remember. We were extremely fortunate that Chelsea decided not to run the game through Pulisic, who would have done well positioned right behind the striker. We really can’t rely on either of these players to be anything other than what they are, average midfielders who either can’t turn or are scared of progressing the ball. Even Willock showed incredible range in terms of the amount of ground he covered when he came on. I’d rather that than seeing Xhaka being run away from after poorly timing his press.
I would much rather Willock, AMN, Ceballos, and Partey play there than those two.

Also Pablo Mari nearly had a nightmare of a game. He did move the ball quickly and if we ever play with 3 CBs again, I’m comfortable with him in place of Luiz in terms of passing. But my god we desperately need to either include Saliba and get rid of all the other CBs. I wonder what will happen with Chambers, as he is as useful a squad player as AMN.

I think Mari is what he is a back up at lcb for Gabriel.
Mustafi came in, that's how dire we are there.
Holding had a great game and still would like to upgrade there but we are def raising his price tag if we do want to sell.

Great win, hope we can at least just beat Brighton so we can put some more points between the bottom.

Yeah, Xhaka should be done but had a good game. Arteta put him rt back in after a ban. Rt back.
I don't trust him to do the rt thing anymore.
Auba will most likely start, I'm OK with that even though martinelli has showed more energy on the left in two part games than auba. But GM can sub in. But please, no more willian. Give me Saka, Nelson, esr, or Pepe over him.

1st half was a your typical arsenal snoozefest, side 2 side/backwards passing
more lively in the 2nd half, pushed forward more which created more chances
Laca subd on and scored within the first 2 minutes
D held up for most part, Leno came up big on one save i believe
Brighton’s black mdfer caught my eye, dude was balling

I caught some highlights and smith-rowe and martinelli looked good again. Saka looking very good 2 matches in a row. How serious is his injury?
I am getting tired of Xhaka and Eleneny in the middle, but I guess Arteta simply won't give up on Xhaka.

I truly hope Barcelona/ or anyone buys Bellerin, i’m ready for new blood at the RB position
was watching the MU/Wolves game and couldn’t understand why arsenal has trouble with one touch passing/crisp passing/dribbling around defenders..watching other teams they make so effortless but arsenals tries and they fumble it away with or without pressure

Yeah we should be getting points from this next slot of games if we play like we did against Chelsea and the 2nd half today.
I've given xhaka crap but he looked okay in the 2nd today, I guess you need a mixture of him and the young guys to do the running, but we must move on. He needs a good run and to be sold for the sake of the club.
