Feels like the only way we are able to get Auor and Partey would be to collect a decent fee for Gendouzi.

I think I saw villa was interested in him which isn't surprising but the reported figure was low.

I think Partey will be the last addition, if they can pull it off, besides a relatively unknown player for cheap.

Sounds like the AMN deal is dead, think this is a good move. Arteta rates him, think he’s got a ton of potential, especially if he can break into the midfield where I think he’s naturally suited. Plus he’s young and good cover for multiple positions.

He made some great overlapping runs centrally in the cup final and also against pool.

Gabriel move is phenomenal. Hopefully the Ceballos rumors are true. If we can pull off a Partey or Aouar move, would be a great window.

Really hoping for more goals/assists from Pepe going into this 2nd year. Got to get more to help Auba not have to shoulder the entire load.

I'm confident that will happen. Stats wise he had a better first year in England than Pires did.

Bellerin may be on the move. I'm torn on this one as I've always liked him, but his past knee injury has halted his progress IMO. Also means we may be going into the season with AMN and Soares as our RBs. I forget Bellerin is still just 25.

PSG approach Arsenal to sign Hector Bellerin & clubs now in dialogue. #AFC would like to keep him but will sell for right price. 25yo open to new challenge if deal struck. Could provide vital cash for targets.

Arsenal would like Bellerín to stay & are prepared to discuss a new contract, but they will not stand in the way of a deal being struck if a suitable fee is received for the 25-year-old Spaniard. [@David_Ornstein, @TheAthleticUK] #afc

This would likely see Maitland-Niles stay & be 1st choice RWB, Soares back-up. Arsenal interest in Partey remains + discussions taking place over Aouar. Ceballos returning to London in coming days - hearing #RMFC will waive loan fee in exchange for #AFC paying full wage this time

How about we sell bellerin and Laca, bring in partey and edouard.

Obviously we need to keep AMN if we sell bellerin though.

So partey, ceballos, xhaka, elneny and possibly torreira still in cm.

Oh an Aouar doesn't want to come to Arsenal

Would people on here rather have Aouar or Partey? I keep getting the vibe that the preference is Partey, and I just don't get it. Aouar is more offensive and a much better dribbler. With our lack of a 10 I feel he'd be more helpful to the current squad. What are everyone else's thoughts on it?

I'm in the Aouar camp. more suited to what this squad needs and hes younger. Seems to me partey is a more athletic Xhaka which is great but if we are playing a back 3 one of those midfielders need to be a creative midfielder willing to get in the box. None of Xhaka/Partey/Ceballos are that.

Id want Partey over Aouar if I had to choose 1 but I’d prefer both. I think Aouar could happen before Partey. Apparently they don’t value Partey at his release clause for some reason which is the cause of the slow negotiations. At least that’s what I’ve concluded, which doesn't make sense to me. But if we don’t get Partey I think they’d go for the Soumare kid from Lille.

It’s hard to say which one I prefer considering I haven’t seen either play much at all. A true 10 is not essential in the 343 but it would be great to find an offensive minded center mid.
Some combo or Partey, Aouar, and Odsonne Édouard would be great. Of course that means we would probably sell Laca, Bellerin, Torreira.
I’m not sure anyone wants Guendouzi so maybe loan him out and get a nice fee next year if he plays well elsewhere. I also think Holding, Sokratis, and Kola are going to be sold or loaned out. If we could find anyone to pay just a third of Ozil’s weekly salary, that would essentially pay for one of the potential signings weekly salary.

Nketiah with a hatty for the England U21s today. Nelson also scored a goal.
