Interesting no Laca but I assume we will see him at some point depending on how the game goes.

This game will be won in the midfield anyways, hope to see Laca score the winner late.

Ceballos with a bad half.
I'm over the Xhaka & Guendozi partnership. Might be just because I'm over Xhaka, tired of all his mistakes.

We had a couple of good chances. It could easily be 1-1. Pool are the best in the league at scoring from corners. Emery should go 4-3-3 and press Pool some in the 2nd half. Xhaka out and Laca in for me. I am over Xhaka much like the rest of yall.

Well we knew this was a possibility when we signed Luiz. Cant fix everything in one summer. This was always going to be our toughest fixture this year. Top 4 is still the aim.

Yall are playing for the title. We are playing for top 4. It will a different game at the Emirates. Although these Anfield beat downs are giving us PTSD.

So as a Chelsea fan I dont get what Emery was doing today. I feel like Pepe is way less impactful at the top. It reminds me of when Conte/Sarri would play Hazard at the 9 he is just way less effective there.

Like why not have a trio of Auba/Pepe/Lacazette? Especially in this game when it was clear what Emery was doing in the first half wasnt working. Leaving Torreira on the bench also drives me insane when yall leave xhaka out there

Emery didn't want to come out and go right at Pool at Anfield as that is suicide. So he played a deep line and banked on the creating chances on the counter. We didnt finish our 2 good chances and Pool got a goal late in the half. You are right. He should have changed up especially after the Luiz pk.

Also Emery biggest weakness is the way he goes overly conservative at times.

I think most of the blame goes on Emery today. Got it wrong and was too slow to change things. Hopefully he doesn't overthink things again against Spurs next weekend.

Emery got this wrong.

You limit your ability to change it up.

Laca should start, torreira should start.

This is exactly what happened.

Yeah Aubu should have scored, that was one I was hoping for. Adrian to frick up and Arsenal get a goal.

But you limited what you could change. Let's hope it goes away.
